Ingredients

  • 65g Pappardelle pasta

  • 100g Premium beef mince

  • 300ml Italian herb & basil passats

  • 2 Garlic cloves

  • 1 tsp Olive oil

  • 1/2 cup Baby spinach leaves

  • 1 handful of fresh basil

  • 1 Tbsp Grated parmesan

Methods

  • Mince the garlic cloves.

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling bring it down to a simmer and add the pappardelle pasta. Cook for roughly 10-12 minutes, or as per packet instructions.

  • Heat a pan with oil on medium-high heat and add the garlic cloves to the pan. After a couple of minutes, add the mince. Break up the mince and reduce the heat to medium, allowing it to cook at a simmer.

  • Once some of the mince has started to brown add the passata, basil leaves and spinach. Let this cook for another couple of minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.

  • Once cooked, drain the water from the pasta.

  • Serve the mince over the pappardelle and top with grated parmesan. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
