Ingredients
65g Pappardelle pasta
100g Premium beef mince
300ml Italian herb & basil passats
2 Garlic cloves
1 tsp Olive oil
1/2 cup Baby spinach leaves
1 handful of fresh basil
1 Tbsp Grated parmesan
Methods
Mince the garlic cloves.
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling bring it down to a simmer and add the pappardelle pasta. Cook for roughly 10-12 minutes, or as per packet instructions.
Heat a pan with oil on medium-high heat and add the garlic cloves to the pan. After a couple of minutes, add the mince. Break up the mince and reduce the heat to medium, allowing it to cook at a simmer.
Once some of the mince has started to brown add the passata, basil leaves and spinach. Let this cook for another couple of minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Once cooked, drain the water from the pasta.
Serve the mince over the pappardelle and top with grated parmesan. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
