Fake-Away Chicken Kebab with Garlic Yoghurt

  • 120g Chicken breast

  • 1/2 tsp Ground cumin

  • 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil

  • 30g Iceberg lettuce

  • 1/2 sml Tomato

  • 20g Red onion

  • 30g High protein greek yoghurt (natural)

  • 3/4 tsp Lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder

  • 1 Wheatmeal lebanese bread

  • 2 Tbsp Garlic hummus


  • Flavour the chicken breast by rubbing in the cumin, smoked paprika and onion powder. Season well with salt and pepper.

  • Heat a pan with the olive oil over a medium heat and grill the chicken for 3-4 minutes each side or until cooked through. Let it rest for a few minutes before shredding with a fork.

  • Finely chop up the lettuce and tomato and slice the red onion.

  • Prepare the garlic yoghurt by mixing together the yoghurt, lemon juice, garlic powder and seasoning with salt and pepper.

  • Lightly toast the Lebanese bread (or keep it fresh).

  • Top with the hummus, salad vegetables, chicken and garlic yoghurt.

  • Roll up tightly and serve.
